An American Bride in Germany

Today for something blue, I thought I'd bring up this cool idea one of my readers sent me. It's a CANDY BAR!! Not like a Snickers, but like a bar, where you get candy! Since Andre and I are both still kids at heart (and sometimes in the brain), I think this is a super cool idea. In the first photo, you'll see that jelly beans and rock candy have been put into little glasses/vases. The idea there is that they are both a favor for the guest, and an escort card to let them know what table they're at. Savvy!

While browsing blue wedding ideas, I came across this beautiful inspiration board, which is doing its job of inspiring me:



I like how they did cupcake tiers instead of just a cake. Then I found this picture of both cake and cupcakes, with a beach twist, PERFECT!




Another interesting beach-y idea I came across, was a substitution for flower boutonnières, using a shell, and of course, blue:
